Suzuki 65

hi guys, my freind has a suzuki 65, 3 cylender outboard, but has a problem, it ticks over lovely, when only slightly dipped in the water, but when fully tilted ( against transom ) and any throttle given,( in gear ) it cuts out, when lucky enough to get it going right, it cuts out under load, but it seem ok if we tickle the choke in and out,<br />any ideas guys, we'ed be gratefull<br />Regards <br />Craigo

First of all, you should ask this question in the Suzuki / Yamaha forum, to get a better response.<br /><br /> check the engine compression.<br /><br />If compression is good, have a look at the fuel system, the carb(s) in particular.<br /><br />Sorry I can't be of more help, but I am not familiar with this motor.
