SUZUKI 65HP 3 CYL SERIAL NUMBER

I have owned a suzuki 65hp, 3cyl, oil injected, 2 stroke for several years and when i bought the engine there was a plate on the bracket with a serial number on it. I have gone to insure the engine but the plate is now missing, can anyone tell me if i can find the serial number anywhere else on the engine. Kind Regards Chris

Nope, as far as I know you can't get the serial number from the numbers on the engine block ... unless someone knows something I don't .... What happened to the serial number plate? You should have insured it when you got the motor ... but maybe you can insure the motor with the numbers on the block?
