Suzuki 6hp parts question

The pin on my outboard that controls the lowered tilt height of my motor fell out on our last outing. I was wondering where i can obtain a new one of these and perhaps the name for the part.

Browns point marina on the net will have them.
If you have a local boat dealer that can get Suzuki parts you would be better off getting it from them so you wouldn't have to pay S/H.


It's called a tilt pin. You will also need to buy the spring that goes on it.

Thanks a ton guys, my pin was just that, a pin, no spring or anything fancy with it. I was at home depot today and walked past the screw/nail/bolt section and got an idea to use a bolt instead of a pin that could fall out, so i bought various sizes and got one that fits perfectly. 2 dollars well spent, time to take back the other bolts.
