Hi all,

i have upgraded to a 4 stroke finally and have a couple of question before i venture out this season.

1) Looking at these controls ( i have a binnacle mount ) I don't see an area where I can put it in neutral with some throttle to start it up.
---on my older 2 stroke, I could push in the button near the base of the binnacle box and move it forward for neutral throttle. ( not in gear )---

is this not the case anymore for suzuki 4 strokes with suzuki controls?

2) anything else that I should know about when running/starting this motor.

3) i know that winterizing is different but I'll look into that in the fall.

thanks again- as always everyone has been tremendouly helpful!!

What JIT said. Just pump the primer bulb and turn the key. The ECM takes care of the rest.

Essential that you get a manual. Without it you can destroy your engine.

Launched the boat today and it was a beautiful thing!!

Just turn the key and voila! No smoke, no fumes and super quiet idle. Performance was great too.

You guys were right on!!

Absolutely worth switching to a four stroke.
