Suzuki DF6

Hello, I bought a 2023 Suzuki DF6 long shaft. My question is, Can the extension be removed and is the drive shaft a 1 piece or 2? I no longer own the boat that this was used on and the extra length is over kill. I use this small OB just for trolling, My bigger OB get me to where I am headed.

Unless this is a sail boat motor. A long shaft is standard length 20” and if you have it on a trolling bracket that’s what you need

When I ordered this OB, I got it extra-long. It measures 23" to the top of the cavitation plate. I tried to upload a pic of it but, I get this message.

From the tag; DF6A 00603F-344604. I bought it in 2023. It would be nice to know the exact year and where parts can be ordered from. It has a large spacer in it as it is a long model. The site won't all me to upload a photo of it or I would. Thanks for the help.

If someone turned it into a longer shaft, they had to install the spacer and replace the drive shaft.
I myself never heard of a 2 piece drive shaft
