Suzuki DT-75 idle

I'm real happy with my '93 Suzuki -- it's smooth and smokeless through the power band -- but it idles too high. It's nearly 1,200 in gear in the water. The idle screw is all the way backed out. Factory manual says to check voltage at the throttle position sensor by plugging in a factory test wire. Can I make a test wire that jumps between the TPS connector and the wire harness connector? Is it hard to adjust the TPS voltage? Is it likely that this is the cause of the high idle? Thanks.

In case anybody else comes across this -- yes you can use a jumper wire from the two sides of the TPS connector. You don't need the factory test wire. Measuring the voltage is easy with an accurate meter and adjusting the TPS sensor is simple with a tiny regular-head screwdriver. The adjustment screw is extremely sensitive. I turned it about 1/8 of a turn and idle immediately dropped from 1200 to 675.
