Two more questions:
1. How to find out if this motor is oil injected, or not? I have no indication so far, but want to double check.
2. Trim unit issue: While checking the trim unit, I could raise the motor but not lower it. I was able to manually lower the engine by loosening a 3/8 size bolt on the trim unit. If you are standing at the rear of the boat, on the starboard side, the trim unit has two ports on it. One is about 3/8 size as mention, and the other is a hex type. When I loosend the 3/8 sized on all of the way, all of the fluid came rushing out.
My issue now is that three small pieces came out with this hydraulic fitting. Two of them appear to be small washers with o-rings in them and one is a disc of some sort. I cannot find any reference on how these fit back into the trim unit.
Anyone familiar with this? Any help greatly appreciated.
