hi i m having problem with my suzuki outboard dt140 model 1998 . the outboard shakes and makes noise everytime i increase speed. i thought the problem was in the propeller thats why i changed it but when i tested it again its the same thing . please help me . thanks

have you hit anything? how does the engine run (besides the shaking)??? I have seen a bent propshaft do that.

thanks for the reply, it didnt hit anything it runs good when its slow. and theres like a rattling sounds when i increase speed. how ca i check if propshaft was bent? thanks again

Really all you have to do o is spin the prop with the engine off and in neutral. If it wabbles up and down, it's bent.

And from what you are explaining... You should do a compression test. And see what that spits out. At least you can try and isolate the vibration to either the power head, mid section, or gearcase.
