Just recently, I have notice when trying to shift into forward I hear a grinding noise. It shifts into reverse no problem. When I hear the grinding noise, I would try to push the throttle a little more to try to get it into gear but it would just rev the engine. I would give that a try a couple of times and if it still fails I would throw it in reverse and then try to shift it back to forward and then it will work. I have noticed that it usually happens when I try to put it into gear for the first time after it has been off since the last trip or turned off while fishing. Once it is in gear it runs perfect and I can put it back into neutral and back in gear again no problem. Does anyone know what could be the issue? Thanks,
