Suzuki DT16 1981

I've got a 1981 Suzuki DT16 outboard motor with a cracked manual starter Pinion (part # 18261-93504). Does anyone know where I may obtain this part, eather the part or the whole manual start assembly (part 18100-93504-291 Starter ASSy, recoil)? Another thought would be a Junker/Used motor. I've been searching many Suzuski Dealers and find most do not have a large "old" stock of parts. Most order from the supplier the parts when needed. Suzuki told me that the part isn't available anymore. An Electric start changeout would work too. The motor is like new as I used it only for trolling.<br />

Thanks for the info. Is this a Suzuki line? I had two dealers try Suzuki with no luck. But I'll try anything. Thanks <br /><br />Scooter

I called this guy twice and both times he stated that he'd find out about the part and call me back... he never did (both times)..<br /> Any other ideas?
