Suzuki Dt2 Timing

Hi could anyone tell me the points gap, and the procedure for adusting the timing on a 1985 suzuki dt2 outboard. we have had problems starting firing but will not start also the mixture adjustment.

any help with this is greatly appreciated

.012 to .016 in. (.3-.4 mm)

I know this an old thread, but I am reassembling a 1986 DT2 that was in pieces.
Could I get a copy of the instructions to set the timing from someone?
