I can run the engine all day long without temp alarm sounding. I can run from one spot to another fish some and take off without an issue. The problem is when I race to a spot, shut down, take a few cast and leave right away the temp alarm will come on. I shut down for a second and restart engine all is good. Water pressure is great 15 PSI. Do I need to idle down before shutting off? Could it be a bad temp switch?
