Suzuki DT25C running rough

I have a 1996 DT25C tiller that started running a little rough at idle. I got it tuned up, new water pump, and new fuel tank and line (tank was stolen). Seemed to be doing better but then started running a little rough again but did fine under load and at top speed. The last time I took her out, she ran rough and when you turned the throttle up the engine sounded as if it was bogged down but I could keep playing with the throttle and it would eventually power up to top speed. As soon as I let off the throttle to slow down, it would cut off and would be hard to crank. I have also noticed that when you crank it, it used to fast idle a few seconds....then idle down. It is not doing that now. I checked the fuel tank vent, fuel screen, and the jets and all are clean. The plugs are fine and all getting fire. I can honestly say, with the exception of that *#@! pilot hole stopping up at least once every trip, this engine has been outstanding and is run year round. This is the first time she has ever let me down. Thanks

Re: Suzuki DT25C running rough

After a lengthy stay at the local Suzuki dealer, they said it was trash in the carbs. I ran it today and it sputtered for a minute or two, then cleared up. I guess I shook some loose that they didn't get but it seemed to run fine the rest of the morning. Thanks for all the help and this is a great board.
