After servicing my waterpump, and accidentally pulling out the shift rod, i pulled (gently) out the prop shaft (the whole shabang in one piece) to get the shift rod back in place. Now every part seem to fit in it's original place.
The engine is however stuck in forward gear, no matter how much the shift rod moves up and down in the gearcase (i can even see the "ball" moving back and forth inside when prop-shaft is out).
When rotating the flywheel the prop rotates the same way no matter where(and to what gear) the shift rod is. (i've tried adjusting the link to the upper shifter it in what seems every possible position).
So, what could be the problem?
