If you removed the L/U and checked the impeller, you would have been better off replacing it. You did all the hard work by taking it apart.<br />I have a DT-6 2 cyl and it spits out water, but doesn't come out in a steady stream like a big motor. When I rev it, it comes out faster but still not a steady stream. You can tell if it's running hot by feeling the temperature of the water coming out. You should be able to hold your hand beneath it at any speed. An impeller can look OK, but still be slightly worn reducing the pressure.
