We have a Suzuki DT65 that was on a boat that sunk. We have cleaned and rebuilt the engine and carbs and changed the throttle valve sensor but we can't get it to rev up under load. It will rev fine in neutral and idles perfectly but it bogs down and cuts out when we try to accelerate. Spark seems fine at the plugs and all cylinders are at 125psi compression. Any-one got any ideas????

Re: Suzuki DT65 Problems

Check your timing to see if it is advancing.

Start checking every thing electronic to make sure they are meeting specs and doing what they are suppose to be doing. Electrical stuff does not like water. That means checking with the proper equipment not just saying it looks good.
If everything meets the specs in you manual, then go back to your fuel side and go through that again.
