Suzuki Outboard Question!! Need Input .

A boat for sale has a Suzuki with 1200 hours on it and I have found out that it was used as a rental boat. The marine company that has it on consignment says it has an excellent service record. The boat is a 19 Mako, which looks real clean and the asking price is $15,900. The boat is 2007 mako 195 and the motor is a 2009 suzuki. There is also no trailer with the deal. What are your thoughts.

I do not know about others but a boat and motor that was run hard and heavy for that many hours by all sorts of people that did not care about it because it was not something they owned , would not be something I would put that much money into.

But that is just me

Thanks, I fully understand your point. That could really be an abusive situation considering that it is not their motor.

2009 Suzuki. . . .what? Two stroke, four stroke, 70HP or 250HP??

Questions that don't include model numbers have no answers.
