I have a '96 DT115S that I need a top mount binnacle type control for. Will a controller for a 2006 DF115 work on it? The throttle/shift connections and tilt/trim wires look like my old ones and all the other electronics are seperate so shouldn't be a factor. My brother gave me this engine and real close to getting her sea-worthy! Hoping someone with experience will chime in. Thanks!!
