suzuki trim problems

hey i have a 1987 suzuki 150v6 the motor will not trim up when the boat is running at any speed but it will when stoped motor running or not however its starting to come up very sluggesh with each pin coming up one at a time again only when the boat is not in motion as i said it wont trim at all when in motion i checked the fluid and its ok if its the motor is it hard to rebuild? thanks for any suggestions

first thing to check is the pressure tube, on the pump assembly. i had one that had been crimped shut/closed - preventing fluid movement.<br /><br />can't speak to a rebuild of the motor, i've had to replace both of mine with new.
