I have a 1987 DT85 Suzuki with oil injection. Currently, the motor seems to be running at top performance, since I replaced the head gasket. Though, a warning alarm is bugging me now. I can run the boat all day with no problems at nearly full throttle. But the second I push it the rest of the way, an alarm will begin buzzing after about a minute of running full speed. I feel its an overheat alarm because it happened once before when I got some mud in the water intake. Right now, I don't think its overheating because the water isn't too hot, and it doesn't occur at any other speeds. An impeller change is scheduled for the next week or two, but I would appreciate any help as to what this annoying alarm may be. Thanks.
