G'day, was recently given a project DT50..l think that's what it is...not much left of the label..
don't know the year of it either l think it's an early model..no side tell tale ( though it does have a cowl hole ) no hole in the RH cowl to get to the gear linkage to drop the LU, still got the metal boots on the plugs, single coil to plugs etc etc so l think possibly '78-'80
it's not running atm due to wiring issues..compression gauge says120/115 in the cylinders,
wiring issue is that someone down the line has let some 12yr old kid ( looks like it anyway ) re-wire some of it..it's missing the proper wiring harness and has a length of old 7 core trailer wire hooked up to the connection on the motor..that harness is also not quite right...
so...the question..finally...geez l can babble..is can anyone direct me to a wiring diagram...looked at most of the usual places but can't find one...
l do have a clymers CD manual but the wiring diagrams on THAT are as useless as an ashtray on a motor bike...too blurred to read anything other than the title...just missed out on a factory manual a few days ago..
