That sounds excellent....I am not that familar with the area so if you could point me in the right direction with a map or verbal directions that would be great. Would like info for the smallies and the ramps on the Ill.

BEST ramp on the river is spring valley new one going in at Marseilles both ramps are in coves of the main current if you want to fish for smallies go to the kankakee

Just run up I80 w. and look for the Marseilles exit go further west to exit 70 or 71 to springvalley and follow the signs
