Hy guys. My 1977 70hp evinrude need to be rebuilt, I don't want to pay for the shop to do it, and I don't think I have the time to do it myself before the season is over (I live in canada). There is an ad in the paper for a 1990 90hp evinrude for $2600 OBO (canadian) and I think I might buy it, put it on my boat, rebuild my old motor, and sell one of them next year. So hear are my questions..........will my tilt motor work on this new motor???? how hard will it be to change???? will my steering cable's work???? the new motor is oil injected, my old one isn't, can I still just mix the oil or will I burn out the oil mix pump????? I am barely getting 30mph right now.......what would your guess be on how fast I might go with a 90hp??? Will the 2 new props I bought for the 70 (13 1/4 pitch x 17 and 19) work on a 90??? Are there any problems I might have with the switch or is it something me and one of my bigger friends can do in a couple of hours????? Will my old control box work (not sure if the 90 has one)????? is $2600 a good price for this motor (it has a stainless prop)?????

lol@all my ????

thankyou for reading and in advance for your advice
