Swapping from a 4.3 Alpha Gen II engine to a 5.7 Bravo, what needs to be changed?

This is a follow up to another thread. I currently have a 4.3 Gen II alpha setup in my boat now. I bought a 2001 5.7 Bravo engine that I want to swap into the boat.

What do I need to change on the Bravo engine to make it work with my Gen II alpha 1? Will I be able to use the parts that are on the 4.3 engine to "convert" the bravo motor to alpha? I also want the engine to be cooled by the alpha leg. What is involved with converting from the transom water pickup to using the alpha as the water source?

Thank you for your input!

Ayuh,... Is the Bravo motor Carbed,..??

You'll need a different outdrive, the gear ratio is wrong in that 1...

The plumbin' can be done, ya just plumb out the motor driven raw water pump...
