Dear Friends:

I recently purchased off of ebay a used swim ladder/platform combo. Unfortunately it did not come with mounting hardware our mounting instructions so I need some advice. I have a 20ft center console with an outboard engine but I am not sure how to mount the ladder/platform to the stern. I need to know where the platform should be mounted in realation to the waterline and a good recommended way to bolt the platform supports to the stern.. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Re: Swim Ladder

do what I did: go to a marina/boat yard and look around at the different ways they are installed.
I had to cut away part of the platform to accomodate the trim tab cylinder.

Be sure you mount it far enough away from the prop so the two devices won't exchange molecules. Also be sure the grab rails clear the motor when it turns (mine is made for an OB so there is only 1 rail).

Fill your holes with 5200.
