My old swim platform strips were 3/4" x 1/4" teak strips. I'm looking to replace them with black plastic ones. I'm wondering if you guys know of any manufacturers that make such a thing... I've looked online but can't seem to find anything.

Re: Swim platform strips

You could use starboard & mill it w/ woodworking tools. It's available in black. Ebay has several vendors that sell cut offs from large sheets. You could probably get a 4" X 24" piece for @$25, or smaller. Black is more expensive then white, so I might be a little low on the $....

A fiberglass donor boat I bought has black plastic step pads that look & function like typical teak ones along the gunwale, you might try to find them. They may be off the shelf the correct size & length..... GreatLakeSkipper has lots of that sort of stuff.
