swim platform

Hi new to this, can any one tell me how to get the bumpy non skid affect on my swim platform, I have whatched how to gelcoat repair but I haven't seen vid on repairing bumpy bits can you help

Hello tony and welcome to Iboats :) ..

When you say "bumpy" do you mean griptex ( sand type ) finish..or a Patterned finish..

Hi YD, its a pattered finish,I have it on the swim platform and the side decks and the front deck, it is suposed to be non slip, it hasn't got grit in it, looks like tiny squares but it is a uniformed pattern lines running north to south and east to west, any help would be good, hoping to start next week with the smooth bits first, great vid on youtube but I haven't found one for patterns

I use flex-mold for nonskid.

I just did a nonskid hatch and repairs on deck..shoulda taken pics ..

PS. kinda expensive..but it will get you in the right direction ( you can even call them ).
