Swim Platfrom Recore

My ladder came off my swim platform and it looks like there not much choice but to recore my swim platform. How do you and what is the best way to recore a swim platform that is made on to the boat and not a bolt on?

any pictures? if its anything like mine you have to split the cap off the hull and replace the wood on the bottom and top of the swin platform area then reattach the ladder

The quickest way is to cut off the finished skin ( where needed ) ..dig out the core..re-core..glass and roll on some nonskid.

Where the bolts are for your ladder you may want to exclude the core. IE cut small squares from the core and fill those locations with glass and/or Glass Putty. This way you will not have this problem again.
