How far away should you stay from a diving flag? I see them here and there and worry that the diver could be under my boat even though I feel I'm pretty far away.

The diver should not be within 100 meters of the flag, and the diver has the responsability of surfacing close to flag as possible. you should be fine as long as you give that much space.,

Jim

I am guessing this is a typo error?? I believe you may have meant the BOAT should not be within 100 meters of the flag, and the diver should surface near it... :)

Our kids are taught the important things. George Washington's birthday. Not how to operate planes or boats responsibly. This is the USA. I can do whatever I want. I HAVE insurance to prove it. What do we pay insurance companies for? To legalize injuries and death while showing off? Sick country now a days.
