We have a 33 year old in ground pool. Several weeks ago we started getting rather large air bubbles coming out of one of the return line outlets about every 30 seconds (=/-). This tells me the leak is in the suction side of the system. I Googled "swimming pool air leaks" and one of the suggestions was to buy a "drain king", turn the pump off and use the drain king to pressurize the suction side of the system through the skimmer. Hopefully this would would force water out where the leak is.
Has anyone done this, any tips or other ideas?
