Move the trailer jack back just in front, maybe just behind if boat not in the way, of the winch post and flip to the other side so the two handles don't interfere with each other, cut the existing tongue, weld the swing brackets on and mount the tongue, of course you have to watch out for the brake line and probably put in a flex section to bend with the tongue, that is how mine is set up. No idea on cost.

Any fabrication (welding/machine) shop in town can do this for you. Here is an example of just one way it is done.

In addition to the kits posted you need to get a rubber brake line and some flare fittings for the brake line to your master cylinder. Might need to order that from Karavan or whoever makes your trailer.

Thanks guys. You are super helpful. Now that I have some knowledge I will be able to talk to the people that will be doing it. (without sounding silly):D

These things do not change the structural rigity of the trailer do they?
