Switch Boxes Failing

I have a 1993 Force 40 and it has burnt up 3 switch boxes in 1 month. stator checks ok,trigger is new and checks ok, regulator rectifier checks ok and no bad wires broken or cut it appears that it’s getting to hot out in the sun on a 95 degree day inside that black cover it’s getting way to hot why would they make something like this?

You can also call CDI Ignition.
They have a call line for problems.
There's no way the ambient temps should contribute to
the parts failing, if it did? then there's be dead boats
all over the south
