On murkery switchboxes, like on a 2.4, how is the bias manipulated to advance or retard the spark by advance or idle stab. modules.
Took the intermittent "advance module" off my XR4, but would like to be able to slightly retard the timing to pull skiiers at half throttle, and maybe advance it a little to haul azz, maybe with a toggle switch.
Just to give you an idea of how involved I can get with something like this, a friend had a corvette with an intermittent security starting system. I checked it out and made for him a printed circuit that replaced the security module circuit board and now it don't give a damn about the resistor in the key, it'll just go.
Thanks in advance
John
