Switching from V-4L 1996 to 1987 is plug adapter need?

Taking off my 25" 1996 130 25" shaft and installing a 1987 140 HP 25' shaft.

Is this plug and play wiring harness. I have read that an adapter may be needed for the harness.

I know the 87 uses the read plug, haven't looked at the 96.

I'm planning on replacing the VRO pump, with the kit that can attach to the 4 prong.

Any insight would be appreciated!!!

The last year for the red plug harness was 1995. You will need an adpater cable for your 96 control box. See your Bombardier dealer.

Thanks, I've seen various adapters.

Do you know which one would apply and who has a good price.

Probably the shorter the better.

You need to see a Bombardier dealer. You need adapters that exactly match the connectors on the ends of the cables.
