Ayuh,.....

What you've got now,... Won't fit....
You'll need to do some Re-Engineering....

Ayuh,....

Many have done to swap using the Edlebrock Performer Carbs(600cfm),+ Manifold.....

Re: switching out intake and carb

You need to make a new fuel line, buy a new flame arrestor, make/mod or buy throttle cable bracket. The Edelbrock 1409 and Performer EPS for vortec heads should be fine, assuming you are raw water cooled and run in freshwater. Speed increase will probably be around 2-4mph.

PS: The edelbrock manifold will not have a place for the warm-up fitting. The alum manifold will heat up faster than cast, anyway. Will need to plug at elbow.

That performance sounds pretty good already, 52mph at 4800 rpm. I would tend to re-think any engine mods and the problems they could introduce. You will probably have to pitch up some to keep from over-revving if those mods help.
