Hello all,
I have a SeaRay 225 Express Cruiser with merc 228 5.0l, Alpha 1 drive
As of the first of the season it was running great WOT 36mph @ 4400rpms... As time went on each time we go out she's getting slower prop is slipping badly. Good News time for an upgrade!!!
I was looking at going from a 3 Blade 17P aluminum to a 4 Blade Aluminum my question is rule of thumb is to decrease by 1p going to 4 blade, if I keep the same pitch and goto 17p 4 blade will it bog the motor down to much.
Any advise will help thanks!
