swivel bucket seat repair

thought i'd give a shot at seeing if anyone has had any experience with an issue i have, i have a 2004 bowrider with a rear bench, sleeper seats on the passenger side and a swivel bucket behind the wheel. my problem is that the bucket is mounted to a carpeted wood floor and on my last outing the seat fell backwards ripping the screws and cheap plastic anchors (8) out of the floor. bad setup from the manufacturer but i'm on my own for the repair. looked at better anchors, preferrably stainless, but couldn't find any decent ones that can be used with wood. no access to under the floor as i would've preferred to use machine bolts and screws. Any help appreciated.

You're not gonna' like this answer, but you've likely got rotted plywood in your deck. Poke around the screw holes very thoroughly and feel for soft wood. If that's the case a proper repair involves removing the deck as a first step, the rest depends on the extent of damage.

As a short term fix, or if your deck is ok here's one possible fix that would be very solid. Cut a piece of 1/2" plywood which is several inches larger than the base of your seats (angle the sides at 45 degrees). Put some stainless steel T-Nuts in the bottom of the plywood where your seat bases will fasten, glue that to your existing deck with a slurry of milled fiber and resin, and finally fiberglass over it.
