SX drive removal service??

I keep my 2010 SX on a lift in FL with no trailer, so getting it out of the water to remove/service/align the drive is a big pain.......

I know Volvo recommends annual removal, but each year i have the drive oil changed/lubed on the lift- Realistically is every two years/ 100 hrs adequate to actually have the thing removed????? More/less???? (salt water)

Do it every year as recommended, especially if you are in salt water.

And one day when you actually need the drive to come off, it won't.
