Hi, I need to know the best way to sync a pair of late 1970s early 1980s 90hp straight six mercury outboards. (They are 2 stroke and have 3 carbs)

I have twin carbed 150's that i synch by ear. When the rpms are the same, they kinda cancel each other out. A nice hummmm ensues . Hard to explain but just doesn't sound right at diff rpms. This works if your hearing is good if not make sure your gauges are right.
