We recently bought into a 2002 Crest Family DL equipped w/ a 90 TLRB Yamaha 2 stroke OB. I would like to find direction to a source where I can get the wiring diagrams, gauge mfrs / spec, furniture hardware etc. We plan on keeping this for a while & upgrading it even; this information will help get me started on the right path? Can anyone point me to the right one, please?

Tks for the help.

Welcome to iBoats!!
Unfortunately Pontoon Boats are NOT like cars! There are usually no manuals like what you are wanting. No specific standard wiring diagrams etc... Unless you contact the Original MFG and request them from them and they have them on hand (very doubtful) then you will just have to work on it as you go and use basic boat wiring knowledge to re-wire what needs to be done. It's all very basic stuff and we can/will help you with anything that comes up. gauges and all hardware can be found here on iBoats and other online sources. Furniture as well. Just post questions as to what you are needing and wanting to do and the knowledgeable folks here on the forum will be more than willing to guide you to a more than satisfactory solution I'm sure!!!

By the Way We LOVE pics so, open a free Photobucket account and then use the IMG Code to copy and paste your photos directly into your iBoats thread. It works great!!!

Yeah, I thought as much. Did request info on Crests website & tried to call. Guess its wait & see now. Simpler systems like radio, depth finder etc I can do, but when it gets to the integral controls, color coding knowledge will be beneficial. Tks

Wire color codes are an SAE standard

OK...it's been awhile, I know. Per the previous thoughts in this string I have undertaken the rebuild of my 90TLRB outboard & have run into one of them there obstackles!!

This motor was not 'disassembled by me. Due to to gross miscommunication on the part of another, I picked up my motor in pieces & am SLOWLY reassembling it. I have the main assembly completed & all is well so far. I'm good w/ this in that it's a great education as I have a 70 hp Y to do the same to.

I need pics of the proper placement of all the electrical, fuel, drainage components; being the cheap arse I am I've perused the 'net...lots to look thru there. Spawning season is coming up here in So TX soon & I need to do trials B4 I know all is good...so you see where I'm going w/ this...right?
Any of you Brothers out there that can point me in a good direction? I'm in your debt.

Thoughts?

You should ask motor questions in the Yamaha section. You won't get much help here in the resto section. The motor guys don't check here often.
