t top issues

Mt t top has delaminated my fiberglass floor. Upon inspection the factory did not install the caulking material in the front stancion area. The other three plates are fine because of factory used the adhesive in the stress areas to bond the floor to the stringers. I had one half inch aluminium plates made. I plan on bolting the the ttop to the plates and then lagging the plate to the stringer. There are voids between the plate and the bottom of the deck. The voids are max. one quarter inch. Will 3M 5200 work or should I use some type of epoxy.
