My wife's family is planning a trip to Table Rock in July for five days. We are looking for houses to rent - 5-8 bedrooms. One member wants a pool, we want a boat dock and lakefront for obvious reasons. We want to be in a nice area somewhat close to Branson and Solver Dollar City for the kids.

Does anyone have any recommendations for location or a specific place?

How busy will Table Rock be on the weekend of the fourth?

Thanks. I've been to that site but don't know the lake enough to know where I'll be happiest at. Do you have a location in mind?

Sadly it's been years since I was on Tablerock, so I can't really help you with regard to location. Others will, but since your party will have those wanting to frequent Branson you could just check the distance between there and a given location and let that be your jumping off point.

We go to Tablerock every year for the past 8 years. I can't tell you much about house rentals since we use our rv when we go. I have looked at vacation rentals on craigslist.com. I just go to Springfield, Mo then vacation rentals. As far as JUly 4th, yes it'll be busy, but Branson is well equipped to handle the crowds. Good Luck

Table rock is gorgeous, one of my favorite lakes. IMO, it doesnt really matter where you, i have driven my boat throughout the whole thing.

We have a condo in Kimberling City. It is about 20 minutes from SDC and 30 minutes from Branson. Typically on VRBO and Craigslist you will find houses for rent. Their are many good mom and pop resorts you could consider also. Over the 4th it will be crowded by Tablerock standards, but not by other lake standards. Go, have fun and take lots of pictures.

I live in Springfield and last summer got a great deal from a guy off craigslist that brokers condo rentals for timeshare owners. We got an awesome deal on a condo that was very close to everything and not far from the State Park Marina to put in for great water access. Here's his number and the link to the resort he hooked us up with.
