Tach Meter

I read the earlier question re:calabration of tach meter. what if I have a 3 stroke? I have a 65hp 1978/9 Merc 3 stroke. Where do I fit in for the calabration?

It's probably a 3 cylinder 2 stroke. Would you agree. Go to the teleflex web page and look in troubleshooting for Tachs.
