Tach Question

I have a 1981 Merc 20hp, just wondering if it is possible to install the sender wire to somewhere on the stator or terminal block or switchbox or is there a better place to install the sender wire on these engines

If your motor has one, connect the sender wire to one of the yellow wires on the rectifier.

i dont think it has one, is there any other option
