When I start my boat on muffs, the tach seems to operate normal, but will sweep to 6k then back to idle. It doesn't seem to sweep at any timed interval, just randomly. If I idle the engine up, it will also sweep randomly as well. Any idea what's up with it? The tach doesn't seem to sweep when underway that I've noticed. This is on a Mercruiser 4.3 TKS.
