On my last trip to the lake last year I noticed my Tach not working. First trouble since I bought the old girl 5 years ago, She is an 1986 Starcraft open bow runabout with a' 96' Mariner 60 ELPTO Fix or replace? Can I do it myself or is this better left to the pros.
Your input is valuable. Thanks in advance.

You could try tapping on the gauge with power on to see if it frees up and also try Exercising a selector switch on the back of the gauge a few times while ensuring to put the Arrow back on the matching engine cylinders your boat has… The gauge should generally have marks on it somewhere suggesting the number of cylinders.
