I need a littel help here .I have 77-70HP Evinrude the boat is a 1980 watercraft bass boat that we have done a complet resto on.The tack is the one that came out on the boat new.It has a pole setting on the back it is set on #6 at this time. Is this right? Or dose it need to be changed? If i am reading right the gray wire gos to the gray wire in the control box .The purple wire gos to the acc side of the ignition switch whitch are purple also. Black to ground and thr light wire to light switch. Also how do i check to see if my tack wire on the motor is in the right place. A photo would help .This is a nice bass boat that we spent a lot of time and money to restore and dont want fry something now. If you can help i would be gratefull. I might add that i have done the entire boat just by reading this forum from the fiberglass work new stringers to floor and paint. I plan on posting some photos when i am done from start to finnish. Thanks God Bless .d:)
