I am wondering where I can buy a tach that will work on my 1992 50hp 3cyl two stroke Mercury? I need to figure out what rpm I am ruuning with the prop that is on the engine. Thanks

When buying one how will I know which one will work with my engine? I don't know how many poles my alternator has. Thanks

That is a 12 pole. You would set the tach at 12 Pole or 6 Pulse ( 6P ).
