tachometer for 77 70 hp

I need a tach but have no idea what to look for. What do yall think? I dont need a fancy one. One that i could put into one of those surface mount cups like the ones you would see old muscle cars would be ideal. I dont have much room to cut a hole

Most marine shops sell aftermarket marine tachs. There are a number off good manufacturers. Teleflex makes a nice array of inexpensive tachs. I've not seen a marine tack which would come with an automotive housing (like a Sun tach) The marine tachs are not the same as automotive tachs. You may have to mount a flat panel under the dash and cut a hole in it. Most tachs are 3" diameter.
