Tachometer problem

Tachometer quit after my shop guys repaired skeg(Welded) without disconnecting electrical. suspect blown rec/reg. how to check?

It depends on what motor you have but it's outlined in detail in your manual.<br /><br />Good luck!

Most likely rectifyer... chack battary voltage with motor off... then check with motor running... They USUALY won't charge if the rectifyer is bad..... TACK will not work if rectifyer is bad....
